Volkswagen relancera-t-il l'autobus des années 1969 à la modestie ?

In addition to Type 1, the Type 2 bus is Volkswagen's most widely recognized vehicle. Some might say it's one of the most recognizable vehicles of all time. Thanks to the hippie movement, the social influences of Type 2 in the 1960s and 1970s in American pop culture can be widely praised. It is interesting to note that the last type 2 bus, also known as T2 Kombi, left the production line on December 31, 2013, in Sao Paulo. The all-Brazilian model died in the hands of safety legislation mandating ABS and dual frontal airbags - changes that Volkswagen was unwilling to make to a 63-year-old model. Of course, other versions of the bus existed, changing names with each generation. The type 2 bus, or Microbus, the carrier, the kombi or the motorhome, depending on who you ask, have turned into types 3, 4 and 5 in other parts of the world.

Since 2015 Volkswagen has built Type 6, called Transporter, in Germany. However, this van is modern in every sense of the word, with no trace of its past. Rather, it is a forgotten van designed to carry passengers or goods that merge into the hilly European countryside.

American builders, on the other hand, are busy building modern cars with retro signals, reminiscent of the glorious days of time spent forever. This raises the question: what if Volkswagen did the same? What if Volkswagen built a special version of its Transporter that dated back to 1969 when shirts were dyed tie, long hair, free love, fierce war, and Woodstock was the place to be?

We send these reflections to our internal rendering specialist for them to be structured. It had to be modern - including all of today's security technology - while still maintaining the original Type 2 ambiance. That's what he invented
