New Tahoe & Suburban 2021
Today, Chevrolet officially launched its popular SUV, Tahoe and Suburban 2021, with their all-new generations. These generations brought design changes, interior, luxury, and urbanization.
We note that the two cars have a large front grille mediated by a horizontal line that carries a Chevrolet logo and slender headlights connected to the LED lines in the shape of the letter C. In addition to the car has a lot of sharp lines in the front to give it more smooth air, and get chrome trim in the higher categories, lamps LED backlight, 4 vents for the exhaust system, and a panoramic aperture.
New generations of the Tahoe and Suburban were built with the new GM T1 wheelbase which will be used in the next generation GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade. With the change in the wheelbase, both cars obtained an excellent increase in sizes. The Tahoe has an additional wheelbase length of 4.9 inches, and a total length of 6.7 inches, compared to the current generation. While Suburban got additional wheelbase length by 4.1 inches, and overall length increased by 1.3 inches compared to the current generation of them. With these increases, the spaces for the second and third grades were enlarged at a noticeable level. This also means an increase in the area of the trunk, which reached 122.9 cubic feet and 66% for Tahoe compared to the current generation, and 144.7 cubic feet, and an increase of 19% for Suburban.
The Z71 classes got an air suspension system that allows the driver to lift the car to a maximum distance of 101 mm or reduce the vehicle's length by 19 mm. The driver can increase the level of the car to 51 mm in the event of lifting objects or people riding in the car. Other Suburban and Tahoe models come with a separate suspension system, which provides more comfort and stability compared to current generations.
In the interior we see the remarkable development of General Motors, as both cars have become more modern, luxurious, and beautiful. Where the cars got a 10-inch entertainment system that owns the latest version of GM's entertainment system called System3. In addition to a screen for speedometers measuring 8 inches for the higher categories and 4.2 inches for the regular categories. At the rear, both cars are available with a large 15-inch screen for the rear passengers and 12.6-inch seat screens. All screens support Android Auto and Apple Car Play systems. In addition, the cars get automatic transmission of buttons and dual climate system.
Mechanically, the two cars continued with the V8 options of engines, the first with a capacity of 5.3 liters with a power of 335 hp and the other with a capacity of 6.2 with a capacity of 420 hp. These engines have been developed to support fuel saving technologies in 12 different modes to stop the cylinders. These engines are connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
As for safety means, both cars have 30 safety technology, including front collision warning system, automatic brake system, distance monitoring system, sensors, and track control system.
GM has not announced any prices yet, but has confirmed that both cars will be available to its dealerships during the mid-2020s.
